I like to share with you some photos taken for Teddy, our youngest son.

This is him at 2 weeks old, as a very inexperienced mummy I did not know how to change diaper and had at that time hit his head with my foot while changing (Oops!). When I told him this story, he said "You did that??!!"

Last Christmas, I wanted Teddy to learn the fun of sending Xmas card to our love ones so we bought a post card photo printer to make the cards. Teddy picked this photo to send to my in laws as he wanted to show how happy he is.

When preparing the Xmas cards, he picked this photo to send to his step sister and her boy friend. I asked him why and he said "Don't I look cute?"

I just love to look at that facial expression. It says "Hey I have 2 teddy bears, including me, there are 3 in this photo."

Teddy's finger was caught by the glass door when it opened automatically and he was crying his lung out before I took the camera out to snap a photo. If you look carefully, there's still the sad look on his face in the reflection.

That day he was challenging his cousin to see who can come up with more funny facial expressions and I have a series of those.
In the early days after I gave birth to Teddy, I was traveling a lot for work and in my opinion did not spend enough time with him. Lucky I have these photos to remind me of those days.
An event happened around 2 years ago and that made me realized that if I do not start focusing on spending more time with him, it may be too late. But I do not know how to do this.
A very close friend suggested to me that I should create activities which Teddy can remember so I tried that method.
Ever since then I have weekly activities with Teddy so that we can enjoy the time together. I want him to have something to remember when he grows up.
Things like baking a cake, go to a pet shop, he watches TV programs and I sit next to him reading my book or taking a nap, my husband watching Family Guys with him (and he understood more of the stupid jokes than me), my husband watching a movie with him while I prepare the meals, go to the zoo, go to the bird park, go to the zoo again, talk about nothing important, do nothing together…..
2 days ago, he initiated the cake baking activity by saying this to me :”Mummy what are we going to do today?” and I said :”What do you suggest we do?” and he said” Shall we do something which we did not do for the past 2 months?” and he pointed to a book of recipes which he had already taken out to put on the coffee table.
PS: One day when I have the permission from our 2 elder children, I will show their baby photos here.
